November 3 is Culture Day. This is a day to promote culture and various cultural activities are held at schools. November 23 is Labor Thanksgiving Day. This is a day to honor labor. I received a mail about Japanese National Holidays and it said that November 3 was Meiji Emperor's Birthday as well and it will not be shifted to Monday.
It is interesting to know the origin of national holidays.
