We are glad to know that applicants for CD present in "CD Picks of the week" is gradually increasing. It is fun to read the comments from the applicants which are related to audio topics.
An applicant for "Live At Bladley's" by Kenny Barron made a comment that I had
Marantz PM15P and CD16, JBL4312 and it might be suitable to listen to Kenny Barron. "Live At Bladley's" was presented to him. We hope that he enjoy to listen to it with Marantz and JBL.

1.Cappuccino's recommendation
I went to see the lesson of Japanese traditional instrument "Shamisen" by Satoshiro Imafuji .
He is professional musician on both Nagauta shamisen and Tsugaru shamisen.
He performs Nagauta shamisenn for Kabuki and Tsugaru shamisenn for plays .

2.CD Picks of the week – "Guitar and Shamisen"
Mr. Imafuji of Shamisen musician recommends two CDs by Shamisen which makes quite different type of performance.
We will introduce them in two weeks.
Ms. Cappuccino recommends "BEYOND" by Hiromitsu Agatsuma.
Mr. Kondo recommends "The three primary colors" by Yosuke Onuma.
Both CDs are performed by young aggressive musicians. Which would you like to get?

3.Walking around Akihabara by Taro Akiba
I have completed to make an amplifier but I don't have a good CD player
So, I went to Akihabara to get CD player. I visited Hi-Fi Do after dropping in several shops. The manager suggested me to try CD player with belt system. I asked, "Which brand would you recommend?" He said, "CEC is reasonable one." I asked the price and it was 150,000 yen(Brand new one). I budgeted 100,000 yen for it and asked if there were used ones in their stock. He told me that there was one second hand player in Nipponbashi shop and arranged to deliver it Akihabara shop.
As I checked it by photo, it looked good cosmetically. The next week it would be available in Akihabara shop. I decided to buy a brand new or second hand one to compare both of them.
I walked around Akihabara thinking about CD players. and I was caught by CD players displayed in any audio shops. I asked to demonstrate some CD player and it cost JPY3,800,000 to my surprise. I could not understand why it was so expensive. It might be difficult for me to tell the difference between the CD player at 100,000 yen and JPY1,000,000 in blindfold.
The design of CD player at JPY3,800,000 was cool but I did not want to get it to tell the truth.
