Autumn is the season of typhoon in Japan. According to the Meteorological Agency, 23 typhoons made landfall in Japan this year and it became the record 10th
in one season. October rainfall in Tokyo recorded 570mm.
The best way to spend the rainy day is to clean up the room listening to your favorite music. It might be good exercise and make you relaxed.

3. Walking around Akihabara by Taro Akiba
Last week, I wrote that I didn't want to hear the sound with box type speaker.
You have your own idea about speaker and there are many different articles about speaker in audio magazines. The things I wanted to say is that the unit installed in box can not make the sound clear and natural. Back- load type makes a tempo delayed.
The sound through all box- typed speaker seems to be mechanical. Baffle board reproduces more natural sound.
Some people says that baffle board can not reproduce deep low sound but it might be caused by the amplifier.
I have ever made different type of box and found that boxes don't make the sound clearer. There was no difference between baffle board and box in high tone.
I began to make speakers by myself because the owner of Hi-Fi Do suggested me to do that. The size of baffle board depends on the size of your room and it should be as large as possible to be installed in your room. The unit should be set apart from the center.
Most of audiophiles might have the idea that the size of unit must be 38cm. However,
16cm seemed speedy and achieved best responsibility as the result that I tried different sizes(10cm to 38cm).
You can find ALTEC, JBL and other famous brand's units in Hi-Fi Do. Why don't you try to make your own speakers?
