It sounded as if I listened to the piano just being played next to me. The sound of transistor amplifier which I had before generated mechanical sound. However, HF-V60 with tubes seemed to generate natural sound. It was so old product that I wanted to replace condenser and resister. I transferred the diagram to the paper before disassembling it because I was hardly familiar with electricity. Fortunately, a small diagram was attached at the reverse of hood and I also transferred it to the paper. The next day it sprinkled and I went to Akihabara by train. First I bought a soldering iron at the parts shop. http://www.hifido.co.jp/merumaga/040423/photo/akiba_taro.jpg I found wire produced by Western in the '50s which price was JPY 2,000/meter. It seemed expensive but I bought 5 meter. In addition, I got condenser and resister. Then, I went to Hi- Fi Do and the manager asked me, "Why did you come here in the rain?" "I disassembled Sansui Amplifier and I came to get their parts." I said. "Have you already disassembled it? Can you reassemble it by yourself?" He said. "I think I can manage to do it." I said. The manager said, "Disassemble might not so easy as you expected and it might be better to leave it specialist. If you are not able to do it, I arrange to reassemble it with our service maintenance." His suggestion made me decide to disassemble it without anxiety. I wonder if I could accomplish it. To be continued. 2.Disassembly and Reassembly This week we would like to introduce requesting mail to "Disassembly and Reassembly" from our subscribers. 1) ALTEC DUPULEX We are requested to disassemble ALTEC DUPULEX , however, this product is not available in our stock now.
